Infringement

Infringement is an act of breaking the law by copying, stealing, remixing, and editing copyrighted or trademarked material without the proper permission, or licenses.

Types of Infringement:
  • Direct Infringement - Consciously and intentionally infringing copyrighted or trademarked material. (Damages Up To $30,000 to $150,000 per work infringe).
  • Indirect Infringement - Infringing copyrighted or trademarked material without being informed. (Damages can be reduced to $200).
